Start with the problem
The technology comes second. First I want to understand what is slowing people down, what is unclear, and what the outcome should actually be.
Keep it understandable
I prefer solutions that remain clear over time — for the people who use them, the teams that maintain them, and the business around them.
Use new tools with purpose
I enjoy experimenting with new technology, but only keep what improves the product, process, or day-to-day work in a meaningful way.

I've spent more than ten years working on software and digital systems in the real world — building new things, improving existing ones, and dealing with the messy details that come with long-lived products and processes.
What interests me most is the space between technology and practical use: understanding the problem, shaping a sensible solution, and getting it to a point where it genuinely works for the people who depend on it.
